Today someone asked me why I listen to a lot of music with no lyrics. It took me a moment to come up with an answer, but eventually I found one. Before I could answer, however, I asked them the same question back, only phrased as “Why do you prefer music with lyrics?” The response was that it makes them understand the artist and with deep enough verse, let’s them dissociate...
